V & A Broadbeach is a major mixed-use residential development in Broadbeach comprising two towers of up to 60 levels above a complex 6-level basement. The basement incorporates CSM (Cutter Soil Mixing) retaining walls, large diameter bored piles under fluid and a staged donut slab construction methodology.
Maple Consults provided design management across the basement and tower design phases, with a focus on coordinating the basement solution and supporting site delivery. The project required close coordination between the structural, geotechnical and construction teams to resolve complex basement sequencing, pile installation and retention system interfaces.
